Inspects the work of assigned personnel and contractors. Assures that work scheduled is properly estimated, scheduled, and coordinated with campus customers.

Responsibilities: Supervises and coordinates all activities involved in the maintenance and repair of over a combined 500 gas, diesel and electric vehicles. Develop specifications, bids and awards for and purchase of new vehicles including loaders, bull dozers, backhoes, utility vehicles, pick-ups, vans, and cars. Manages campus-wide vehicle rental program that includes rental vehicles for departmental travel as well as loaner vehicles for departments whose vehicles are being repaired.

Responsibilities: The day shift primarily services the classrooms and restrooms in the 98 academic buildings serviced. The night shift primarily services the offices, labs, lounges, stairwells, entryway’s, shower/locker rooms and corridors in the same 98 buildings. Both shifts are responsible for snow removal and special event support i.e. commencement & open houses.
