American Elm
 1872 These were street trees planted on both side of Olmsted Drive from South College southerly to the bridge at the head of the Pond The class of 1872 planted and American Elm for each member graduating. There may be one left of these planting located on the north side of Fine Arts, west side of the Pond.
American Elm -- Northwest Skinner Hall. One of the few remaining mature American Elms. Unable to Locate.
American Elm -- West of Skinner Hall. One of the few remaining mature American Elms. Good Health.
American Elm   North of University Apartments. Good Health. Unable to Locate.
American Elm -- Morrill I, east side near lot #65. Good Health. Located next to River Birch.
Black Oak 1898 Located fifty feet south of North College. We believe this tree is located on the north side of the Library and South College where the sidewalk makes a v. However, there is no marker, this tree is in very poor shape and is slated to be taken down.
Black Oak -- Rhododendron Garden. Average Health. Not located.
Black Walnut 1894 Located about twenty-five feet south of the southwest corner of South College. Located.

West of Baker Dormitory.

 Good Health.
Catalpa -- Southwest of South College. Poor Health.
Chestnut Oak -- North of Division of Continuing Education. Located off main campus at 358 N. Pleasant Street.
Copper Beech 1874 West Durfee Garden. Most likely planted by Professor Samuel T. Maynard in 1874.
Cottonwood -- Southeast of Knowles. Average Health.
English Oak -- Between Durfee Conservatory and Morrill. Poor Health. Located beside European Linden.
European Beech -- Division of Continuing Education. Located off main campus at 358 N. Pleasant Street.
European Beech -- Northwest of Baker Dormitory. Good Health.
European Linden -- Between Durfee Conservatory and Morrill. Good Health. Located beside English Oak.
Hackberry 1870 Marshall Hall. West edge of parking lot. Most likely planted by Professor Samuel T. Maynard. Unable to Locate.
Japanese Elm 1899 This tree is located thirty feet southeast of the southeast corner of South College This tree was brought from Sapporo Agricultural College in Japan in 1890 by Professor William Penn Brooks. It is the first of its species in America and became the class tree of 1899.
Japanese Pagoda -- Northeast of the East Experiment Station. Average Health.
Katsura 1930 French Hall, northwest corner. Female tree planted by Professor Lyle L. Blundell, Professor of Horticulture in the 1930's. Good Health.
Katsura -- French Hall. Male tree planted by Professor Lyle L. Blundell, Professor of Horticulture in the 1930's. No longer exists.
Katsura -- Southeast Textbook Annex. Beautifully shaped medium sized tree. Good health.
Katsura -- East of Bartlett Hall. Good Condition.
Katsura -- East of Bartlett Hall. Good Condition.
Larch -- Southwest of Butterfield Dormitory. Two very tall trees stand at the southwest edge of the west parking lot. Average Condition.
Linden -- Northwest of Wilder Hall. Average Health. Unable to Locate.
Oak -- Melville. Northeast. Good Health. Unable to Locate.
Pin Oak 1908 Located 25 ft. south of the Veterinary Lab (Which is now Munson Hall). Located. This tree is also a Champion and Class Tree.
Pin Oak 1909 Located northwest of the Stockbridge House and southeast of Wilder Hall. Located tree is marked with a stone at the base. Also a Class Tree.
Pin Oak -- Northeast of Physical Plant. Good Health.
Pin Oak 1903 Located on the east side of Draper Hall Located. However, the sign on the tree is incorrectly labeled Red Oak. Also a Class Tree.
Red Oak 1900 Located 35 ft. north of the northwest corner of the Drill Hall (Which is now the east side of Bartlett Hall). Located. Also a Class Tree.
River Birch -- Morrill I, east side near lot #63. Good Health. Located.
Sakhalin Corktree 1901 Located 60-ft. northeast of the Veterinary Laboratory (Which is now Munson Hall). Located. Also a Class Tree.
Silver Maple -- Southwest Campus Pond. Average Condition. Unable to Locate.
Sugar Maple -- Old Nursery. Northeast. Very large, old & beautiful tree in very poor health. Unable to locate.
Umbrella Pine 1877 Northeast of Rhododendron Garden. Two trees grown from seeds sent to M.A.C from Japan by President William S. Clark in 1877.
White Ash -- West of Marshall Hall Annex. Poor Health. Unable to locate.
